Privacy Policy
Who we are
Our website address is https://plco.nl.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user agent to detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you use it. The privacy policy of the Gravatar service is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile image is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
When uploading images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and extract location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to have your name, email address and website stored in cookies. This is for your convenience, so you don't have to re-enter your information when you leave another comment. These cookies remain valid for one year.
When you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set several cookies to store your login information and your screen settings. Login cookies remain valid for two days, and screen option cookies remain valid for one year. If you select "Remember Me," your login will remain active for two weeks. When you log out, the login cookies are deleted.
When you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is stored in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and simply indicates the post-ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may contain embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other Web sites behaves exactly the same as if the visitor had visited the other Web site itself.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and track your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged into that website.
With whom do we share your data?
If you make a password reset request, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long do we keep your data?
When you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. We do this so that we can automatically recognize and approve any follow-up comments instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website (if applicable), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.
What rights do you have over your data?
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you may request an exported file of the personal information we have about you, including any information you have provided to us. You may also request to delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not apply to data we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where will your data be sent?
Visitor responses can be monitored through an automated spam detection service.
